Pubs & Bars on the Yorkshire Coast

 

The Shambles Bar & Restaurant - Beautifully converted from the old Burberry Factory by the owners, with exposed original beams and comfortable sofas.  Relax with a drink or enjoy a meal from our menu and soak in the magnificent views of Whitby Harbour. Proudly featured in the good beer guide 2006, our bar offers an excellent selection of cask conditioned real ales with John Smiths, Copper Dragon, Theakstons XB and Old Peculiar permanently featured through the year accompanied by Guest Ales during the summer.

Barracuda Bar - Barracuda Bar Scarborough offers a great range of entertainment throughout the day. Our food menu kicks off at 10am through to 12pm with breakfast or you can choose from our main menu up to 9pm EVERY NIGHT of the week! If you're a sports fanatic, you couldn't pick a better venue to watch your favourite team. ALL Sky Sports fixtures will be shown on our 10 plasmas and 2 very large screens and if you want to guarantee your seat see our book a booth offer.

Mist Bar - Enjoy Fresh, home cooked food from our bistro menu, served from 12pm everyday or dance into the early hours in one of the towns busiest & most modern bars. Taste Beers from around the world such as Tsingtao & Asahi or sample one of our delightful wines. Whatever your Tastes in food, drink or music, there will always be a time to suit you at MIST!

The Hayburn Wyke Inn - An 18th Century coaching inn set in woodland next to the coast between Scarborough and Whitby. A short walk takes you to a secluded cove with a waterfall cascading over the cliff onto the stony beach where you can easily imagine smugglers landing supplies at dead of night. Today the Inn is a busy country pub serving delicious homemade food every lunchtime and evening. The Sunday Carvery is a local favourite. The function room is available for parties or watch the signboard for some special nights out.

The Cask Inn - Here at The Cask we don’t like to think of ourselves as just providing food and drink. We like to think that we are providing you, the customer, with an experience. This might be that quiet drink on the way home after a stressful day at work, enjoying a wonderful meal with friends & family, or letting your hair down at one of the late night events at Sigma.

Inn at Hawnby - Step into The Inn and experience a world of stunning local ales, fresh locally reared produce and flawless service hard to match. AA Rosette for food coupled with a highly commended AA award puts us into the top 10 Inns in the country. Our guests come here for a variety of reasons - great food, romantic get away's, walking, weddings and even a coffee.

Kings Head Hotel - A Seventeenth Century Coaching Inn in Kirbymoorside, lying to the southern edge of the North York Moors. Over four hundred years of history & hospitality. The best local and seasonal ingredients are prepared by our Chef Mark Coon, to provide an excellent menu. Fresh fish, game, local meats and vegetables. Inspired choice of vegetarian dishes. A carefully selected wine list from around the world.

The Goathland Hotel - A traditional village pub run by Keith and Jean Richardson who produce both good food and drink in a friendly atmosphere to which guests constantly return. The bar is warm and welcoming with traditional décor and a real log fire.  Well known as the ‘Aidensfield Arms' as depicted in Yorkshire Televisions popular series ‘Heartbeat', where they filmed all their ‘local pub' scenes for the first four years. Come and see the Aidensfield setting but be charmed by our un-spoilt traditional bar and hotel.

Klosters Wine Bar - Klosters stands out from the rest due to its relaxed friendly atmosphere. Named after the austrian ski resort Klosters has a ski / snowboarding theme to its interior. The bar is surrounded with pictures of mountains, skiers and snowboarders. Klosters Wine Bar offer a range of high quality wines specially selected from specialist suppliers with a new range every month. Klosters also have discount nights to cater for the student market such as Mondays and Tuesdays which offer customers a chance to win a round of drinks free of charge.

The Board Inn - The Board Inn is an 18th Century Coaching Inn situated on the bank of the river Esk, in the village of Lealholm in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with it's own fishing rights. Life at the Inn is traditional and retains all the charm and character of yesteryear, with our refurbishment providing modern facilities throughout. We are now into our second year and have exciting plans for the future having established ourselves in the community. We are featured in the Sunday Telegraph, the Good Beer Guide, Yorkshire Post and the Spectator.

The Black Swan - This substantial hostelry lies in the heart of Pickering on the main route to Whitby, Scarborough and the North York Moors. Dating back to the 18th Century the Black Swan offers bed and breakfast in its spacious rooms. The restaurant and reception are on the ground floor. The menu offers you the choice of fine home cooked food in pleasant surroundings. The restaurant lends itself to images of a medieval banqueting hall, your hosts Ian & Jill make you feel very at home here.
