Eating Out in Scarborough

Peppers Restaurant - The cuisine at Peppers is based around the fantastic larder of seasonal produce available to us in North Yorkshire. The sound application of classical techniques combined with natural artistry and a contemporary touch all combine to create something really special.

Florios Pizzeria - We provide a varied menu of Italian and English cuisine, ranging from starters such as ribs, pate, stuffed peppers and scampi to delicious mains including steaks, chicken, fish, pizza, rice and pasta. A selection of sweets are also available, including profiteroles, fudgecake, ice cream and tirimasu. We also have a varied selection of drinks including popular beers, wines and spirits.

Tricolos - In 1977 Mike, Dennis and Ronnie Jaconelli converted their families Ice Cream Parlour into one of the North’s finest pizza restaurants, its overwhelming success appealing to all ages and the formula as popular today as it was some thirty years ago. Today Tricolos continues its family business traditions under the directorship of John & Nicola Senior serving innovative Italian food in a friendly romantic setting.

The Glass House Bistro - is an award winning cafe bar and bistro, based in Northstead Manor Gardens as part of the multi-million pound regeneration of the area, known as 'The Sands'. We host various theme nights through-out the months, If you are interested in having your own special night accompanied with great food and friendly staff, we would be happy to help. We look forward to welcoming and serving you in our unique parkland surroundings.

The Blue Crush Bar & Diner - is a relaxed, fun and friendly place to eat overlooking the North Bay in Scarborough. It is a surf themed bar / diner, situated on the beach front with a mezzanine dining area overlooking the bay giving fantastic views. It is open from 8am 7 days a week serving breakfasts, then from 11am the other menu swings into action offering salads, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, together with a host of fish and seafood dishes, with a good choice for vegetarians. All the food is cooked to order using fresh seasonal produce. There is an al - fresco seating area for the warm days and evenings.

Scarborough Tandoori - Scarborough Tandoori Restaurant is the longest established Indian Restaurant in Scarborough and is renowned for the quality of the service and food. Dine in elegance. We are a 75 seater restaurant, divided into two areas. On one side is our "classic" seating area; on the other side, we have a "modern" seating area which has a No-Smoking Policy. We also have a fully-licensed bar. We are open seven days a week, and also do deliveries to the Scarborough area.

Eating Out in Whitby

Botham's of Whitby - Since 1865, Elizabeth Botham & Sons has been a family run craft bakery in the ancient port of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. Following our original recipes, the finest ingredients are skillfully combined to produce Biscuits, Plum Bread and Cakes of the highest possible standard. "A tasty slice of brack is just the thing to fill the mid-morning gap in a hungry tum. Yorkshire Brack, washed down by a cup or two of Resolution Tea.

Green's of Whitby - Restaurant & bistro, situated on the Abbey side of the swing bridge, is perfectly placed to source and promote the very best of foods from the surrounding area. Rob Green is able to choose seafood fresh from the quayside every morning. Prime local meats and game are also a speciality. The abundance of fresh produce means that the menu changes frequently to offer you “the best of the day”.

5 Leys Restaurant - The 5 Leys Restaurant specialises in freshly-prepared Yorkshire food, sourcing all produce, where possible, from within a 25-mile radius. With spectacular views across Filey Bay, the 5 Leys Restaurant enjoys possibly one of the finest East Coast locations. Whether it's a hearty lunch to prepare you for the day ahead, or a relaxing evening meal, diners can enjoy the serene surroundings in air-conditioned luxury. And to complement your meal, we offer a fine selection of reasonably priced, hand chosen wines from the 5 Leys cellar.

Eating Out on the North York Moors

Castlegate Taberna - in Pickering welcomes you to come and enjoy dishes of the spanish gastronomy served as tapas, and to discover some of the many well appreciated Spanish wines. Tapas? They are small snacks that originated in Andalucia in the 19th century to acompany a sherry. Stemming from a bartenders practise of covering a glass with a saucer or tapa (cover) to keep out flies, the custom progresses to a range of appetizing varieties of cold and hot dishes serving regional specialities.

Restaurant at the Fox & Hounds Country Inn - is located in the quiet village of Sinnington, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, just off the A170 Pickering to Kirbymoorside road. The Fox and Hounds Country Inn has recently refurbished its restaurant with a comfortable and contemporary design. There is plenty of space between the tables and the restaurant offers a quality and varied menu, provided by the inn's three chefs.
